Rebecca Sakaguchi is a creative soul and problem solver. These qualities gave her an edge as our first ever design/UX intern, and now as a full-time digital designer! She claims that she’s shy (honestly, we can’t tell!), though she enjoys collaborating with not only designers but everyone on the IS team and has become an essential part of our ongoing initiatives.

Rebecca supports our design team on all their efforts, from creating wireframes and designing comps to conducting UX research. She just graduated from American University with a double major in graphic design and computer science, so she excels at balancing different projects and translating designs across a variety of platforms.

In her free time, Rebecca enjoys searching for Japanese milk bread bakeries in D.C., creating style slice-of-life comics and doodling on sticky notes that she hides for her family to find.
