Imara Moore
Imara may only be in her fourth year of college, but her skills in and passion for marketing, digital media, and journalism are already at a professional level. As our first-ever Marketing Creative Strategy Intern at Interactive Strategies, Imara brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to clients ranging from Special Olympics to the American Lung Association.
Imara’s three-plus years at Howard University, where she majors in journalism and minors in graphic design, have afforded her numerous opportunities to hone her writing, design, digital marketing, and media production talents. She has served as an editor, fashion stylist, columnist, general assignment reporter, graphic designer, social media content creator, and co-founder for on-campus publications and projects as well as for top global brands. From dynamic internships with the Recording Academy and Steve Madden’s Dolce Vita to crafting timely content tailored for Black and Gen-Z audiences, Imara’s depth of marketing and creative experience is remarkable – and will only grow from here.
Unsurprisingly, a burgeoning creative professional like Imara has no shortage of interests and pursuits. Ask her about fashion, music, dance, growing up in Portland, Oregon, or her latest and greatest thrifting success.
